Pricing model and sealed quotes

Bullion (own catalogue)

Live 24K gram rate (already 999.9 — no extra purity factor) × grams + making (fixed or per gram) + margin (fixed per gram or % of metal), or premium path: rate × grams + selling premium + making. Fields live on the product. There is no manual shelf price. Category margins do not price bullion when a selling premium is set.

Metal jewellery

Live metal × fine weight (mixed karat from product components) + AMARSoft making + margin. Making/margin chain:

1. Product making override wins; making margin is 0.
2. Else category making margin on AMARSoft making.
3. Else as-sent making (margin 0).

A product flat price override becomes the customer unit; the remainder shows as margin in the breakdown. Margin is never folded into metal or making on the sealed quote or the ERP intake line.

making_cost = 0

Means no fabrication charge. The piece is not sold as metal-only. Set a making override or a flat store price, or fix the feed. Admin shows the warning on the product.

Diamonds and watches

No metal line. Base is selling_price, then the same override → category → as-sent chain.

Sealed quotes

HMAC-signed and stored with the AMARSoft intake fields. Cart lock is ten minutes. Place must send the signature. Tracking reads the stored total. Native ERP currency is converted at quote time.
